The Dark HublotBig Bang Depeche Mode for Charity

As part of the much anticipated 2013-3014 Delta Machine Tour by Depeche Mode, this all black wristwatch is the result of a collaboration between two giants: the iconic British band and Hublot, the Swiss luxury watch maker. It is called Big Bang Depeche Modeand it was designed to raise money for charity.

This is not the first time that the two have collaborated, as they also joined forces in 2010, when their charity target was teenagers that suffered from cancer. This time their partnership will bring funds to those areas that need clean and safe drinking water. Consequently, part of each sale will go directly to charity.

The watch boasts a strong design that cannot pass unnoticed. It is an excellent accessory for people with strong personalities. Only 250 individually numbered timepieces will be made, all boasting 44 mm cases of micro-blasted black ceramic. The ClousPyramidedesign of the bezel is repeated on the strap (heat-molded calfskin over black rubber) for an extra powerful visual impact.

As all Big Bang watches, this one too features the 6 iconic H-shaped screws on the bezel, made from black PVD titanium. The crown is black PVD steel with rubber inserts, and the sapphire crystal flaunts anti-reflective treatment. The dial is quite impressive as well, with a skeletonized design that reveals part of the interior mechanism.

The movement is HUB4214 Automatic mechanical Aerobang chronograph, consisting 257 parts, of which 27 are jewels. With a power reserve of about 42 hours and water resistance of 10 ATM (100 m), the Big Bang Depeche Mode is a remarkable timepiece that collectors will definitely love.
