If you know anything about fine British automobiles, then you’ve definitely heard about the Morgan Motor Company by now. This renowned automaker has been producing stunning roadsters ever since it was founded in the 1910 by Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan. Honoring the fulfillment of 100 years since the foundation of its factory in Pickersleigh Road in Malvern, Morgan’s experts decided to create a special limited edition of the superb Plus 8 Speedster.
This particular model was chosen in light of its incredible heritage, especially since it has been produced by Morgan ever since the 1960s. Flaunting a sporty, lively design as well as impressive performance capabilities, this remarkable Plus 8 Speedster hides a 4.8-liter V8 engine under its hood, which happens to ensure an output of 370 pound-feet of torque and 367 horsepower. This retro-looking beast is able to perform a 0-62 sprint in just 4.2 seconds and comes with a six-speed manual or a ZF six-speed automatic transmission according to the owner’s preference.
With a limited top speed of 148 mph, the Morgan Plus 8 Speedster costs about $117,000 and is expected to hit the production lines starting June.
