Royal Wedding-Inspired Ateliers de Monaco Timepiece

The royal wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock was celebrated in many ways, including an exclusive gem-studded Monaco writing instrument  that the couple actually used to sign the wedding documents. Another “royal edition” creation is the Ateliers de Monaco La Sirene timepiece, dedicated to the beautiful new Princess. The dial is actually a stylized “King Protea”, the national flower of South Africa, the country where Charlene Wittstock was born. The watch also features a 39-mm case made of white gold, inside which is a Swiss automatic movement with an engraved rotor and silicium escapement. Price is €80,000 (approx. $114,500).
