Recent reports inform McLaren MP4-12C current and future owners that the company decided to slow down production because of some minor quality issues like door functionality, condensation in the headlights and battery problems caused by some electrical issues. The company assures us that these concerns are not related to the vehicle’s performance or safety in any way.
Until the engineers will find a solution to the battery problem, McLaren advices current owners of the sports car to lock the doors of the vehicle and thus shut down the electrical system in order to save the battery.
Right now there are 179 people waiting for their MP4-12Cs in the U.S., but they will have to work on their patience for two or three weeks, because McLaren decided to delay deliveries. No worries though, the British manufacturer will bring the car to your home soon.
