Coin collectors around the world cannot afford to miss the upcoming Heritage Auctions September Long Beach Signature U.S. Coin Auction. The event will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center, between Sept. 6-9, and it will include some of the rarest and most coveted pieces of early copper coinage.
Among them there will be The Philip Clover Collection of U.S. Large Cents, which is an impressive set of early large cents by Sheldon die variety. The set is almost complete, as Mr. Clover has over 99% of the 300+ Sheldon varieties of large cents. Some of the pieces in the collection (over twenty of them) even flaunt the NC (Non Collectible) rating due to their rarity.
