Paul Allen’s Private Island for Sale at $13.5 Million

Need a private island? Paul Allen is selling one for $13. 5 million! Named after a Navy hero, the Allen Island can be found between Rosario Strait and Burrows Bay and can be accesses both by private plane and by boat. A beautiful lush vegetation surrounds a log home, an airstrip, 44 tax lots and a number of ideal places for a main house, because the property does not have one.

Several beaches and a dock create access to the lovely blue waters that embrace the island. Allen bought the land (292 acres) in 1992 and listed it for $25 million in 2005. Now the prices has dropped to almost half the original price, making the island even more appealing for the rich. For this sale, Paul Allen chose Wally Gudgell of Windermere real Estate as a listing agent. This is not the first time that the billionaire has worked with Gudgell, as the agent also sold Allen’s San Juans property in 1996.
