This year, OMEGA will be the official timekeeper of the Ryder Golf Cup. For this very special event, the world-renowned watchmaker created a brand new timepiece, called the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Captain’s Watch. It will be worn by Davis Love III, the captain of team USA.
Featuring a 41.50-mm brushed and polished stainless steel case, and a matching stainless steel bracelet, the watch is powered by the brand’s Co-Axial caliber 8,500 with Si14 silicon balance spring. Sapphire crystal covers the classy dial and part of the caseback, allowing a crystal-clear view of the timepiece’s components.
The hour markers are made of 18-karat white gold, and the hands are coated with Super-LumiNova substance for nighttime visibility. The exquisite watch is water resistant to 15 bar/150 meters.
