The Nissan Esflow Concept that we saw at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show really caught our attention and we’re sure it did the same thing to you too. But is there any chance for the alluring concept to find a way to actually make it to production? The answer is yes, even though the actual chances of that happening are very small and if a production version would ever appear, we all know it would lose many of the Esflow’s most alluring features.
So what are we talking about here? The much speculated MX-5 Miata rival from Nissan. There is no official information on the matter and nobody can say for sure if such a vehicle is in the Japanese automaker’s plans for the near future. Still, we really enjoy imagining how the two-door sporty coupe would look like. Whether it’s going to be an adapted version of the Esflow or just a cut-down Sentra, word has it that the car will borrow a midsized platform from Mercedes-Benz. Nissan might also ask for a little help from Lotus for a little sportier chassis.
But since all these are just unconfirmed rumors, all that’s left for us to do is to gaze at the Nissan Esflow Concept and admire its every detail.
