Limited Edition China Cups Dedicated to Britain’s Royal Baby

The birth of the third British king in waiting, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, has generated much enthusiasm around the world. Prince William and Kate’s firstborn entered this world on July 22, bringing lots of joy to the royal court and lots of attention from the paparazzi.

In order to celebrate this joyous event, the Royal Collection Trust has commissioned a special edition loving cup made of china using traditional manufacturing methods that haven’t changed for 250 years. Limited to 2013 units, the cups are crafted in Staffordshire and then hand finished with real 22-carat gold.

A beautiful custom design can be admired on each piece, showing symbolic elements that evoke the baby’s lineage. The coronet of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is supported by the lion and unicorn of the Royal Arms, while the entire design is surrounded by oak leaves taken from the Middleton family’s coat of arms. Offered in beautiful packaging, the cups are available online (RoyalCollectionShop.co.uk) for £195 ($300).
