Jaguar C-X16 Concept at Frankfurt

Jaguar will soon unveil a new coupe concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. Called Jaguar C-X16, the vehicle draws its power from two sources: a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 376 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, and an electric motor with 92 hp and 173 lb-ft of torque. There is a button on the steering wheel which activates the electric motor, which integrated in the eight-speed gearbox.

Being a hybrid, the C-X16 boasts 165 g/km CO2 emissions, making it not only good looking, but also eco-friendly. It can reach 50 mph on electric power alone. The 0-60 mph sprint is made in 4.3 seconds and the top speed is 186 mph.

With its 1.6kWh battery pack mounted at the rear end of the car (behind the seats), the C-X16 has a perfect 50:50 weight distribution. Don’t miss the picture gallery and the video below.
