Christian Redl (aka Iceman) is a living merman. He is renowned for his free-diving skills and for the fact that he managed to swim 100 meters under water…ice cold water, that is.
Watchmaker Edox recognizes Redl’s potential and has decided to make a watch inspired by him. The result is a stylish timepiece, called Iceman 1, that features a polished black PVD casing, a carbon fiber dial, a black rubber strap and a Swiss ETA 2895 movement. The watch can be submerged to up to 1000 meters under water!
Only 600 (some say 700) pieces will be made and they will each cost $2,550.
