Honoring the impressive career achievements of LeBron James, Audemars Piguet decided to team up with the famed professional basketball player and create a unique, beautiful and technologically advanced timepiece- the Royal Oak Offshore LeBron James.
The watch is an epitome of luxury and sportiness, boasting an 18k pink gold and titanium case that goes beautifully with a gray crocodile leather strap. Even though the gray/gold combination is a bit unusual, the watch still looks quite extraordinary nonetheless, giving off a subdued sense of elegance and fine taste. Furthermore, the crown and chronograph pushers were made using black ceramic, while the 2 o’clock Start/stop button was adorned with diamonds for a plus of opulence.
The power comes from an Audemars Piguet caliber 3126/3840 automatic chronograph that comprises a 22k gold rotor. The intricate workings of this in-house mechanism can be observed freely on the back of the case through a sapphire crystal, which also helps protect this precious timepiece from the elements. However, if you do drop this masterpiece in water by accident, you shouldn’t fret, since its makers made sure that it would boast a water resistance of 328 feet.
