The vehicle will be unveiled later this year and represents the first Ford ever to feature a flat-plane crankshaft V8, which is able to deliver an incredible power output.
To be a little more specific, the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang is expected to boast more than 400 lb-ft of torque and over 500 horsepower. All that power demands a suspension upgrade, which is why this special Shelby is outfitted with new antiroll bars, improved spring rates, revised MagneRide dampers control calibration, front suspension cross-axis ball joints and a track-tuned alignment setting. The ride height is also lowered in order to ensure stability and extra speed.
As expected, the vehicle flaunts multiple GT350R badges, and it rides on a set of light and sturdy carbon fiber wheels. The rear wing and large front splitter add an extra touch of aggressiveness, which is fitting given the four-wheeler’s special powerplant.
