The best jewels are those that come with a special story. One such piece is the beautiful Black Heart, designed by self-taught Italian sculptor Emanuele Rubini. The lovely pendant is made of Belgium black marble and it was inspired by Amy Winehouse’s incredibly successful Back to Black album.
The Black Heart pendant is a precious tribute to the famous singer, who left this world too soon in 2011. This remarkable jewel is the first one crafted in black marble by Emanuele Rubini, even though his experience with marble is incredibly vast and goes back to 1997. Private collections across Italy hold his monumental works, while small and medium sized creations are owned privately in different countries, such as Germany, Spain, England, the U.S., Taiwan, China, Lichtenstein, and of course Italy.
Rubini’s Black Heart enjoyed a lot of success and appreciation after it launch. This led the sculptor to announce his intention of creating a whole collection of ten unique jewels, all dedicated to the beautiful and talented Amy Winehouse.
