The Blue Lagoon is a very popular movie that came out in 1980 and stars Christopher Atkins and Brooke Shields. Telling the story of two cousins who ended up on a gorgeous island after a shipwreck, the movie was filmed on Turtle Island Fiji – a paradisiacal island that is located on the shores of the Blue Lagoon. The island is only accessible via seaplane and is the home of a luxurious resort that impresses with comfortable accommodations and impeccable service.

The establishment can only host 14 couples at a time in 14 lavish bures, each boasting its own untouched private beach.  During their stay, visitors can always relax, take in the sights or enjoy sunbathing. However, those who are looking for a more exciting time can always go scuba diving in the lagoon or embark on an exploration trip of the island.

As far as dining is concerned, all meals are prepared with great attention to detail by experienced chefs, who use only fresh, high quality ingredients. Available dining options comprise dinner parties at the beach or private sessions on a floating pontoon in the middle of the lagoon.
