Donkervoort has finally revealed its latest creation, the D8 GTO. Considerably larger than the GT and the D8 270 RS, this ride is powered by a tuned 2.5-liter Audi TSFI engine sourced from a TT-RS. The engine is 66 pounds lighter than the original, and it can generate up to 400 horsepower when the race module button is pushed.
The power-to-weight ratio is not bad at all, the vehicle itself weighing no more than 1,540 pounds. This is definitely the fastest Donkervoort creation ever. The steel frame of the car is covered in carbon fiber, and its door opening system reminds us of a Koenigsegg.
The company will produce only 25 units, but half of them have already been sold. If you want one Donkervoort D8 GTO in your garage, be ready to shell out between €100,000 and €150,000 (approx. $127,000 – $190,000) for it.
