If you don’t mind buying second hand designer dresses and high heels at incredibly low prices, then you’d better hurry up and help those poor rich ladies get rid of their bad memories and also make some extra cash.
From the buyers’ point of view, the best thing about these sales are the prices. For instance, Chloe bags which usually retail for $2,000 have been spotted at a quarter of their original price and in perfect condition too! Or does a $30 Diane von Furstenberg dress sound too good to be true? Well, it isn’t! At divorcee sales, all sorts of glam stuff from Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton or Christian Louboutin come at bargain prices.
The idea belongs Jill Alexander, former ToryBurch manager, and several high-end hotels have already successfully hosted such events. It’s a new luxury shopping trend, actually!
