Just a quick glance at the Audemars Piguet Diamond Fury is all it takes to realize that this watch was not designed for women who are afraid to stand out. Indeed, thanks to its angular design based on sharp edges, this practical and luxurious accessory is bound to attract attention whenever it makes an appearance. The piece was unveiled during the SIHH 2016 event, and it required 1,500 hours of hard work in order to be designed, engineered and built.
One of its most important features is represented by a hidden “suicide hinge” that allows one of its spikes to unhinge and open upwards after a single push. The spike then reveals a pave-encrusted two-hand diamond watch dial that blends nicely with the overall design of the watch. The case measures 40 mm and houses an intricate Calibre 2601 quartz movement. Created using 18K white gold, this elegant piece comes in two versions, namely a full diamond pave variant as well as a diamond/onyx version, priced at $637,800 and $568,300 respectively.
