Bentley decided to celebrate its new ice speed record by creating a limited edition super ride: the Bentley Supersports Ice Speed Record Convertible. So what record are we talking about? A couple of weeks ago, world rally champion Juha Kankkunen set a new speed record driving a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible on the frozen Baltic Sea. The 12-cylinder, 6-liter engine put out enough power to push the AWD ride to 205.48 mph.

The upcoming Geneva Motor Show will have the honor of hosting the limited edition convertible whose twin-turbocharged W12 engine with 6.0-liter displacement is said to be able to put out 631 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque. This makes it the most powerful Bentley alive. The ride will reach the 60 mph threshold in just 3.8 seconds and in 9.5 seconds it will hit 100 mph. Only 100 examples will be made.

At Geneva we will be able to admire both the limited edition Bentley and the record-breaker itself. Yes, Bentley is going to bring the convertible that Juha drove when he reached 205 mph on ice.
