The guys at Hot Toys have revealed an astonishingly accurate Bruce Wayne/Batman collectible figure for diehard fans of the character. It is a 1/6-scale DX-range luxury toy that’s actually a surprisingly lifelike representation of actor Christian Bale, who plays the role of the caped knight in the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.
Flaunting PERS (Parallel Eyeball Rolling System) for an intimidatingly lifelike eye movement, and a number of swappable mouth pieces for almost infinite facial expressions, the figure is already available for preorder, priced at $220. It will reach stores sometime next year, together with weapons, accessories, and a fabric costume with special plating (Hot Toys didn’t go with the traditional rubber material for this toy) that is again an accurate representation of the real Batman’s armor.
