Audi decided to celebrate its Le Mans victories with a special edition R8. Featuring the same 4.2-liter V8 engine that’s found in the base coupe, the R8 V8 Limited Edition Audi received an alluring titanium-effect paint job and matching wheels (19-inch double Y spoke). If the color scheme does not please you, Audi will paint your anniversary R8 in any of the automaker’s standard pearl and metallic effect paints. The wheels may also boast red brake calipers.
Inside the limited edition car, customers will find an Audi Music interface connected to a Bang and Olufsen sound system, satellite navigation, Bluetooth hands-free calling and special interior lighting package. The starting price in the U.K. is £93,935 ($150,000), but there is no word yet on the car’s availability in the States. Only 100 units will be made.
