Because the BMW M3 Coupe is approaching its last days of production, tuners who want the car as canvas for their next work of art should act fast. Just like Alpha-N Performance did when they devised the new BT92 4.6 package for the beautiful M3.
So here it is: one of the beefiest looking versions of the car, with a menacing exterior and a few engine upgrades to match the appearance. First of all, a lot of carbon was used to change the body. The original fenders have been swapped with new wider ones, the side skirts were replaced with new ones, and the trunk and hood were also redone, all in carbon fiber.
As some of you will probably see at the car’s official launch at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, the BT92 4.6 will be offered with a number of engine options, one of which is pretty obvious from the name – a 4.6-liter V8 unit that can deliver 490 hp and 374 lb-ft of torque thanks to a few electric upgrades.
