Sotheby’s auctions are known across the world for featuring some of the most coveted and expensive art pieces, and it looks like the famed auction house managed to set a new record recently by gathering the whopping sum of $204 million. The money came in partially thanks to a pair of unseen self-portraits by Francis Bacon, Lucien Freud’s “Four Eggs on a Plate” painting and Andy Warhol’s stunning “One Dollar Bill” piece.

Starting off with Francis Bacon’s portraits, it’s worth noting that they have never been displayed publicly before, and that they brought in about $23 million each. Lucien Freud’s “Four Eggs on a Plate” painting caused art fans to push the bid almost seven times its expected price, which eventually ended up at about $1.5 million. Andy Warhol’s One Dollar Bill was purchased for $32.6 million, and it represents one out of 10 similar pieces that were created by the famed artist in 1962. The painting is 4.3 feet tall and represents the artist’s fondness for money. It is the last of Warhol’s hand-drawn paintings, as he switched to his exquisite silk screen technique shortly after completing it.
