Dinosaurs are fascinating, wouldn’t you agree? Admiring the fossilized skeleton of one of these prehistoric beasts is a little bit like peering back in time, which is why so many people are willing to travel far to museums where they are exhibited, and some are even eager to spend millions of dollars in order to own them.
The fossilized T-rex skeleton that we’re looking at measures 38ft x 12ft x 10ft, and it’s between 72 to 65.5 million years old. It has 45% of its bones in place, which means that it is more complete than many other skeletons displayed at various museums. It was put together using fossils collected from Montana and Wyoming, and it has been nicknamed Roosevelt. The good news is that it is being sold by Theropod Expeditions for $2,390,000, which is a fair price to pay for such a rare piece of history.
