The Yews – The Ultimate Luxury Treehouse at Chewton Glen Hotel

These days, the ultimate thing for romantic getaways and get-togethers with family and friends are the country house hotels. But what if you want something else? Something that is a little bit more secluded than the same classic, sumptuous hotel lounge for tea and biscuits or breakfast in the roomy hotel dining room?

Well, here’s the solution for you – the new treehouse called The Yews at Chewton Glen Hotel.

More than comfort and privacy

This treehouse offers its guests five-star luxury in total privacy with hot tubs on a wrap-around balcony.

Wonderful design

The interiors design is emphasized by muted grey tones, one of the piece de resistance being the giant semi-circular sofa.

The Yews features two spacious marble bathrooms with large free-standing baths. Here are found three bathrooms in total.

Great Yew and Little Yew are the two luxury apartments reunited under the name of The Yews and are located on the edge of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, 35 feet above ground.

Seen front the outside, the private treehouse appears as an amazing and ergonomically pleasing silhouette.

Between the two apartments, there are four bedrooms – two double and two twin that feature four pull-out beds underneath the twin beds.

Moreover, the details are the ones that set this place apart from the traditional country house hotel room. There are the semi-circle sofa, an arcade game where you can play Pac-Man and Space Invaders, a ladder that connects the space to the loft room, flat-screen TV in the bathroom, and wrap-around balcony with a large hot tub that allows you to look out into the trees.

Staying in this treehouse means taking advantage of a slice of nature right on your doorstep alongside all the hotel’s five-star facilities such as a spa, leisure activities, an award-winning restaurant, a golf course, croquet lawn, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and also indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

Having the privilege to enjoy this treehouse also means having the opportunity to take a delightful 20-minute walk to the sea via the hotel grounds and public footpath.

While you’re here, you can also try the Kitchen, a purpose-built cookery school, bakery and informal restaurant that was recently opened in association with celebrity chef James Martin. You also have the option to hire your private chef for the entire time you spend here, and therapists and personal trainers, and take yoga and meditation classes.

The Yews opened in October, but it is not the first treehouse at Chewton Glen. There is a total of 12 treehouses – the first one opened back in 2012.

If you decide that you want to stay here for a couple of days in order to recharge your batteries, you must know that a stay in The Yews costs from £2,850 a night for both apartments.
