The most expensive hot dog in the world was not retailed as part of a special event hosted by some prestigious company, but it was sold from a food truck in a parking lot, which definitely sounds appropriate, if you ask us. Priced at $100, the fancy Maille Truffle Haute Dog was sold in Melbourne, Australia, but it wasn’t the only item on the menu that day. Other options included a Maille Haute Dog for $10 as well as a Maille Chablis Haute Dog for $25.

The Haute Dog includes a grass-fed sausage in a bun, complemented by a strip of French-made Chablis white wine and black Perigord truffle mustard.
