Located in Medellin, Colombia, this contemporary family house was designed by architect Oscar Mesa. Featuring two volumes separated by a lap pool, the residence was built for a couple and their tree children. One of the volumes has just one level, but the other one is considerably larger, featuring two levels.
Huge floor-to-ceiling windows play a major role in this project, affording unobstructed views of the beautiful surrounding, and also inviting plenty of natural light inside. Probably the most striking element on this property is the beautiful group of rocks that decorate the open courtyard. They were actually found during excavations, and then kept for landscaping purposes. We have to say we really love the result!
