The latest Veritas project is ready to conquer the roads: the RS III one-seater roadster. Based on a monocoque frame, the fast and powerful ride flaunts a body entirely made from carbon-kevlar. This gives it a very light weight of only 2,360 lbs (or 1,070 kg).
When you couple this advantage with a tweaked BMW M5 5.0-liter V10 engine that can put out 600 horsepower, the result is an impressive 0-60 mph time of only 3.2 seconds. The engine can be mated to either a 7-speed SMG III gearbox, or a 6-speed manual transmission from BMW, and the maximum speed is 216 mph. Only 30 units were made.
