A new luxury hybrid will be launched soon, but this time we’re not talking about a car. It’s the most expensive Android smartphone in the world, the Ulysse Nardin Chairman, which will debut at this year’s Baselworld show. It’s a hybrid because it’s a mobile phone with an incorporated Ulysse Nardin mechanical watch rotor (which creates kinetic energy for more power to the phone).
For a mind-boggling $50,000 you will get a GSM 3G compatible phone with 32 GB of memory, an 8 megapixel camera and a 3.2-inch touchscreen with print recognition. For an extra 10% of the original price you will also become a member of a unique program offered by the creators of the Chairman. The program offers a twice-a-year clean, polish, and upgrade (if necessary) to your mobile phone, and it also ensures replacement of the device if you loose it.
