Sketched out by DADA & Partners, the Three Trees House occupies a scenic lot in New Delhi, Delhi, India, and it ensures 17,000 square feet of living space. During the designing project, the owners requested the implementation of a formal drawing room that would be connected to a garden, and so the architects created a three side lantern-like area that boasts 20 feet in length and offers exceptional views of the front lawn and of the pool.
As its name suggests, the Three Tree House is surrounded by three trees, out of which a flowering Kachnar (bauhinia) is the most impressive and represents the centerpiece of the main courtyard. The rear block of the house comprises a double height family living room, while the east block incorporates the drawing room, the entryway, the dining area and a bar. The upper floor includes four bedrooms as well as a lounge, while the northern face of the lot features a sauna pavilion as well as a gymnasium.
