We’ve seem tables made out of engine blocks and coffee makers that resemble engines, but a Bluetooth speaker made out of an actual Porsche 911 GT3 exhaust definitely qualifies as a pleasant surprise. Created by a team of experts over at Porsche Design, this pricey device offers exceptional sound quality, and that’s because the exhaust’s pipes resonate sound perfectly while adding amazing depth and volume to the experience.
The device incorporates a 2.1 virtual surround system, as well as an LED display, controls for bass and treble, and a Bluetooth interface with lossless audio transmission. There’s also a subwoofer output, a 200-watt output and a remote control volume feature. The system can be pre-ordered for $3,500, which might sound like a lot but it’s actually quite cheap when compared to similar offerings.
