As part of a limited edition of just 450 units, this stunning BMW M1 is set to hit the auction block in December courtesy of RM Auctions. The car boasts a Dallara-designed chassis as well as a superb body sketched out by Giorgetto Giugiaro, while its development was initially supervised by Lamborghini.
Its Arctic white paintjob is one of its greatest assets, but its checkered upholstery is definitely worth mentioning as well. The huge expected price tag is owed in part to the vehicle’s low mileage and pristine condition. Therefore, the auctioneers are looking at figures between $800,000 and $1 million, which means that this could very well become the priciest M1 in existence. The current record-holder is an M1 that was purchased for $854,000, but keep in mind that this is a racing-spec model. The record for a road-going M1 is currently at just $605,000.
Whoever ends up buying this magnificent ride will probably take it out for a spin on special occasions only, which is understandable considering its rarity and enormous value.
