SAOTA (which stands for Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects) and interior design studio OKHA Interiors have created a true masterpiece in Clifton, a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa. Located near another SAOTA project called Nettleton 195, this stunning contemporary residence was dubbed Nettleton 199.
The owners of this five-story home wanted a dwelling that would be strongly connected to the surroundings by sweeping, unobstructed views. They also wanted a garden that would restrict the views of the neighbors, and which would also connect the residence with the mountain at the back of the site.
After SAOTA completed their task, OKHA managed to create calm and serene interiors that responded to the clean architecture of the entire house. The sleek geometric lines ofthe indoor spaces were softened by elegant and warm decors and furnishings, resulting in a calm and serene overall ambiance. We definitely love every aspect of this house.
