Not too long ago, Christine’s International Real Estate has revealed that the most expensive penthouse in the Netherlands has received a brand new owner. The luxurious residence is not yet complete, but it will be constructed at Amsterdam’s core, and it will flaunt 15,500 square feet of living space. It was purchased by Won Yip, who is an Amsterdam-based restaurant tycoon, and it is a part of the Pontsteiger building.
Apart from being the most expensive penthouse ever sold in the Netherlands, this will also be the country’s largest one, which sounds quite impressive. The apartment was sketched out by Christie’s real estate, while the building itself was designed by Arons en Gelauff. Also known as “the new gate of Amsterdam,” the building comprises 300 apartments for rent as well as 100 apartments for sale, and it benefits from access to its own private marina that’s large enough for 45 yachts.
