Porsche Panamera has just gone diesel with this new and upgraded model. It sports a Porsche-tuned VW Group turbo diesel 3.0-liter V6 engine capable of putting out 247 bhp and a maximum torque of 406 lb-ft. The engine is coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission with stop-start capability, and it can reach the 62 mph threshold in 6.8 seconds. The best part is the fact that the new Panamera boasts a pretty impressive fuel efficiency too.
The standard package includes the bi-xenon headlights, tires pressure monitoring, Porsche’s Active Suspension Management, front and rear park assist and touchscreen sat-navigation. Customers can also get airs suspensions and other optional features for some extra cash. The Porsche Panamera Diesel will be launched in Germany in August with a base price of $119,000.
