While it’s usually true that electric bikes are not as powerful as their gasoline-powered cousins, they’re undoubtedly more eco-friendly and even more practical depending on the owner’s needs. Still, when it comes to dirt bikes, those equipped with combustion engines usually pulled up ahead, at least until the Neematic FR/1 came along.
Representing a cross between a mountain bike and a dirt bike, this two-wheeler is equipped with a 2.2 kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers juice to a 20 kW peak power brushless motor. This motor guarantees a top speed of 62 mph as well as a range of up to 60 miles on a single charge, which is definitely decent. Then there’s the heavy-duty off-road suspension and mid-drive aluminum frame, both of which are welcomed additions to a dirt bike. Other noteworthy elements include DMR pedals, Hope tech3 V4 brake, Fox 2017 shocks and a Pinion drive.
