The Macallan and Lalique have been working together for ten years now, and each and every product that resulted from this collaboration is breathtaking. The Macallan in Lalique Six Pillars Collection is particularly noteworthy, and the latest product a part of this unique line is the spectacular Peerless Spirit Edition, which includes a sublime 65-year-old whisky. Limited to just 450 individually numbered decanters, the “Peerless Spirit” celebrates the exquisiteness of The Macallan spirit.
The decanter’s design is based on a single peeress drop of The Macallan, and it is inspired by the blown and pinched technique used by René Lalique for his renowned Lalique perfume bottles. The “Peerless Spirit” decanter is worth about $34,216, and it will become available starting July 1, 2016 at various specialist whisky retailers.
