Created for a couple in their fifties and sixties, the Floating House is an exquisite work of Hyunjoon Yoo Architects. It is located on a lovely site in South Korea, near the Bukhan River. The owners of the house run an elegant restaurant in the area and they wanted to have a home near their business (it’s only about five minutes away).
They asked for a home that would overlook the river and provide beautiful views from a high level. They also required it to have a study room, a guest house for their daughter (who sometimes visits them with her family), a big yard, a barbecue place, a low-level swimming pool and enough space for their children to run and jump freely.
