The First Luxury Bathtub Made of Healing Gemstones: $1.74M

Made of Caiju gemstone, this is the first luxury bathtub ever carved from healing stones. It is believed that Egyptian, Chinese, and Arab civilizations knew about the stone’s strong healing powers and appreciated its beauty for many centuries. The stone is also said to store over 100 million years of Earth’s energy. This probably explains why an anonymous buyer was willing to pay almost $2 million on it.

The precious bathtub (which is more expensive than Tamara Ecclestone’s crystal bathtub, by the way) was part of 16th Dubai International Jewelry Week. Named Le Grand Queen, it represented the first ever sale for the Caiju Group. The group’s Sales and Marketing Director, Reka Peresa said: “we are delighted it [the sale] was made at the Dubai International Jewelry Week. The response we’ve received here has been wonderful”.
