The gorgeous 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback made its glorious debut at this year’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The automaker had informed its fans that the future would bring some new additions to the RS line, and this is one of them. Powering the beast is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 on gasoline, capable of 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque.
The engine is very similar to the RS6 Avant, and it is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The power reaches all four wheels of the car, helping it rush to the maximum speed of 155 mph (electronically limited) in almost no time. The 0-62 mph time is of just 3.9 seconds. We’d say this is all very impressive, but we know there are some adrenaline junkies out there who just can’t be satisfied with these figures. So for them Audi created the Dynamic Plus Package, which elevates the maximum speed to 190 mph.
Rolling on 20-inch wheels with 7 twin spokes, the car can be fitted with either a sports suspension with dynamic control, or an adaptive suspension which can bring the car lower to the asphalt by 0.8 inches. And if you want your ride to have an even more impressive stance, you can also choose the 21-inch rims with various spoke designs. To top it all off, go wild an splurge some extra cash on the carbon ceramic anthracite grey disc brakes measuring 16.5 inches.
Finally, the interior of the car is no less amazing than everything else. It flaunts black gauges with red needles and white scales, a lamp timer, oil temperature gauge, boost pressure indicator, sport seats wrapped in leather, nice Alcantara trims, and a three-spoke steering wheel also in leather.
