Constructed in Dalkeith, Australia following a design by Hillam Architects, this contemporary residence actually represents the result of an extensive renovation focused on an older home from the 1980s. Apart from the main house, the grounds also include a large swimming pool and a cabana, both of which contribute to the property’s lavishness.
The clients requested that some of the original elements would be kept, including the architectural curve of the house, which is now clad with Blackbutt timber boards. As for the main living quarters, they feature a double-height space that impresses with its high quality furnishings and large windows. The kitchen boasts a black and white theme that oozes modernism, while the different levels are connected by an interior staircase with seemingly floating steps.
