The Contemporary Xpresso 1500 Catamaran

NISI Yachts commissioned design studio Setzer Yacht Architects to create a new exquisite concept for their line of plush yachts. As expected from the renowned and award winning designers back at the Caribbean-based design firm, the result was totally awesome: a fast and easy to maneuver catamaran with plumb bow hull and pod drive propulsion.

The vessel was called Xpresso 1500, and it was scheduled for production sometime in 2014. Capable of effortlessly piercing the waves, the catamaran was designed to reach 25 knots. The pictures below show a modern exterior and matching interior design. Simple shapes, crisp white furnishings, brightly colored pillows, and a lot of wood make every inch of the vessel warm and welcoming.

According to Ward Setzer, the president of Setzer Yacht Architects, the Xpresso 1500 can be used in a variety of ways. Its versatile character makes it an excellent charter vessel, but also a great explorer. Vacationing and partying onboard this catamaran are two other excellent ways of enjoying it. We’re sure that many yachting enthusiasts are already anxious to see the vessel ready for purchase.
