Superb NSX Concept by Acura

Among the many new awesome concepts unveiled at NAIAS 2013, automotive enthusiasts have had the honor of witnessing the launch of the upgraded NSX  concept by Acura. Since its last public appearance, the concept has become even more alluring, with better looks and an upgraded interior.

Exterior modifications include a new front fascia with redesigned grille and bumper, LED taillights, clear turning signals, carbon rear diffuser, and more. On the inside, things are very minimalistic, with leather and Alcantara inserts, various carbon fiber elements, and numerous controls and knobs. Acura describes the interior as flaunting “outstanding visibility, an exotic driving position and an intuitive Simple Sports Interface that minimizes interior clutter, allowing the driver to focus on the driving experience.”

The powertrain has remained the same: a mid-mounted V6 engine + three electric motors for an excellent all-wheel-drive experience. The transmission was changed, however, and now the hybrid concept features a dual-clutch transmission system. The concept is only scheduled for production in 2014-2015, when it will bear the Honda logo in most countries, except for North America, where dealers will sell it as an Acura.
