Built in 2014 on the bank of a scenic lake near St. Petersburg in Russia, this fantastic residence was designed by Architectural Bureau A2. Pretty much all of its important rooms face the lake, including the kitchen and dining area, which are located on the first floor. The views of the water are admired through panoramic windows that span from the floor to the ceiling, while a series of sliding doors further enhance transparency thus fading the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors.
As far as exterior finishes are concerned, the architects used ceramic panels Argeton Terzo 3 Iron Gray from Germany, as well as Panels ArchSkin PANARIA Lightquartz BIANCO from Italy. The glazing was created using an innovative system named Reynaries Concept, which improves comfort while minimizing energy consumption. Inside, a plethora of wooden elements were used for the floors, ceilings, furnishings and finishes, which is why the ambiance is incredibly warm and inviting.
