Swiss watchmaker Armin Strom is set to take part in the 2015 Gumball 3000 rally, and in order to mark this special occasion, it unveiled a stunning new piece called Skeleton Pure Team 78. The company will participate in the rally as Team 78, whose members will drive a TechArt-supplied Porsche Turbo 997. The rally started off in Stockholm on May 24 and will finish off in Las Vegas at the end of June.
As long as things go well throughout the event, Armin Strom has a good chance to make a name for itself in the automotive world. In the watchmaking world, it is already quite appreciated. The car that needs to cross the finish line is a Tech Art GP Street R Cabriolet, which boasts Gumball 3000 and ARMIN STROM Team 78 logos on its sides and hood. As for the watch itself, it is a variation of the brand’s Skeleton Pure model, and so it flaunts a black PVD-finished steel case as well as neon lime details across its dial and carbon strap.
