Unveiled at this year’s Paris Motor Show, the new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo concept is a fresh creation with clean, elegant lines, a minimalist interior, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The car boast a very attractive and aerodynamic body, with ventilated front fenders, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, LED headlights and a Liquid Metal Blue paintjob.
Powering the car is a hybrid powertrain that includes a 3.0-liter V6 engine, a electric motor, and a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. Knowing that Porsche can never compromise in the power and performance department, we were not at all surprised to learn that the Panamera Sport Turismo has a total output of 416 hp, and can complete the 0-62 mph sprint in less than 6 seconds.
Another thing that we love about this car is that not only is it extremely fuel efficient (67.2 mpg US) and very low on emissions (less than 82 g/km), but it can also travel on electric power alone for over 18 miles, at up to 81 mph.
And finally, a totally enjoyable ride can only happen when the interior is welcoming and comfortable. Fortunately, this is exactly the case with the new concept Porsche: it flaunts Alcantara trims, a lot of leather, and nice metallic accents. Very technologically advanced, the vehicle boasts a large infotainment display on the central console, and two displays that flank the digital instrument cluster, showing what the exterior mirror cameras capture. There’s nothing not to like about this concept!
