De Bethune sure likes to implement sci-fi themes into its stunning watches, and the Dream Watch 5 is definitely no exception. Sketched out to resemble a spaceship, this intricate and beautiful piece was introduced for the first time in 2014, and now it has received a stunning new version named Meteorite. As its name suggests, the case of the watch was created using an actual piece of meteorite, which was polished and refined tirelessly by the company’s experts in order to achieve an exceptional, colorful look.
Measuring just 39mm from top to bottom, the case is definitely not the largest out there, but its width of 50mm can cause a few problems, especially since the large ruby cabochon inserted at the end of the crown often impacts with the wearer’s hand. As for the caliber, we know that it needs manual winding and that it offers a power reserved between four and five days. Priced at about $44,150, the Dream Watch 5 Meteorite by De Bethune is a fabulous timepiece indeed, albeit somewhat expensive.
