Stunning ALD House In Morelos, Mexico

ALD House is a superb contemporary residence that was designed by a team of skilled architects from a company called SPACE. Found in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, this amazing weekend retreat sits on a lot of land measuring 10,764 square feet, and it boasts 2 distinct volumes.

The first volume was created using black metal elements, exposed concrete and a plethora of glass elements that ensure utmost transparency and a generous flow of natural light throughout the day. The second volume features a distinct cube shape that was created using cantilevered wood, and it shelters a terrace and a swimming pool right underneath. As far as interior adornments are concerned, they were chosen and implemented with utmost attention to detail, and they include a stunning painting that depicts a Porsche 78 as well as a superb mural sketched out by Juan Carlos Baumgartner. Accommodations include a double-height living room, 4 bedrooms and a fully equipped open plan kitchen.

As with many other projects penned down by SPACE, the ALD House was created using recycled materials and wood that was sourced from certified forests. For improved sustainability and low energy consumption, almost all of the lighting arrangements within this abode are based on LED systems. You can admire the ALD House below.
