It is made from bullet shell casings and steel, and each piece is further embellished by cuts, curls, bends and slashes. The only four pieces that have almost entirely kept the bullet appearance are the queens and the kings.
Pure solid hot rolled steel was used for the board, with each square individually cut and welded to the frame. The version that you can see in the picture (with 223 caliber bullet cases) is available at Etsy for $510, but you can also choose to order a custom version made from your own bullets.
