Shooting Star is the name of an amazing 38 meter (124.67 feet) superyacht that has been recently launched by Danish Yachts in Skagen, Denmark. Designed by Espen Oeino International, the yacht was initially known as “project 116”, before becoming the beautiful, powerful, fast and environmentally friendly “Shooting Star”.
Its eco-friendliness was manifested right from the construction process and continues every day thanks to its remarkable lightweight (it boasts a carbon fiber hull) and its fuel efficient systems. Being able to reach speeds of 47 knots and beyond, the vessel is currently the fastest means of transportation between Monte Carlo and Saint Tropez (less than one hour).
Complementing the sleek, modern exterior, the sophisticated interiors of the yacht feature plenty of Scandinavian influences. Elegant lines, luxe materials, custom furniture, everything inside oozes luxury and style. The numerous skylights, the grand sun roof in the main saloon and all the lighting fixtures throughout make sure that the ambiance is always pleasant, whether it’s night or day.
The Shooting star has got enough room to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. Amenities include ample relaxation and entertainment areas inside and outside, a 3.5m Williams Jet Tender, a garage that can accommodate a LISA plane, air conditioning throughout, iPod docking stations in all cabins, seamlessly integrated Bang & Olufsen high-tech systems, a spacious cinema room (that can be converted into an extra berth) and more. Even the staff quarters are characterized by luxury. No wonder the asking price is €18,500,000 (approx. $26,4950,000)
